Jumping Jacks

INSTRUCTIONS

Start by standing tall with your feet together and your hands on your side..

Begin by bending your knees then jumping into the air.

While jumping spread your legs to about wider than shoulder-width apart before returning to the ground.

Staying in this position, bend your knees again and then jump into the air while returning to the starting position with your arms and feet together again.

Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.
TIPS
-
Keep a slight bend in your knees to help absorb some of the impact on your knees.

Perform this exercise on a soft and secure landing area. (Eg. on grass)
VARIATIONS

Beginner should go slowly while performing this exercise. They can also move one leg at a time from the starting position to the ending position.
-
For added difficulty, try increasing the speed of the exercise while still being in control of your body as much as possible.
